Welcome to Speed Reader! This thing allows you to read pretty fast by rapidfiring single words straight to your visual cortex, more or less. Just paste here whatever you need to read, set the speed in words per minute and hit play. For maximum reading eficiency, keep your eyes centered in the red letter and, instead of reading the word aloud inside your head, try to simply recognize it (easier said than done, but very possible with a bit of training and tools such as this one; check out the term "subvocalization" if you are interested). NEW (but still EXPERIMENTAL): If you wish, you can now upload a file containing text and we will do our best to convert it to plain text and display it here!
